Rocketseed Email Signature Manager

Rocketseed is a third party application which allows you to centrally manage your email signatures. Our integration with Rocketseed enables Customer Thermometer surveys to be automatically included in your Rocketseed email signature.

Rocketseed can manage email signatures across Outlook 365, Outlook Exchange, Salesforce and G Suite, and the feedback you receive is fully trackable and identifiable.

Setting up Rocketseed for Outlook 365, Outlook Exchange and G Suite

In Customer Thermometer, create a new Embedded Thermometer. Choose “Basic Links” from the list of available integrations.

After you have chosen your icon set and updated your Thermometer details, click ‘Generate embed code’ to add your Rocketseed custom fields. These fields will allow you to automatically capture the recipient email address and other data that is accessible from within the Rocketseed platform.

Below are the most frequently used Rocketseed codes, which you can simply copy and paste into the data fields, as shown in the screenshot below.

Recipient’s email:  @|[email protected]
Sender’s email:  @|[email protected]
Sender’s first name:  @|[email protected]
Sender’s last name:  @|[email protected]

Rocketseed custom fields

You can place the sender’s first name and last name codes into the same field with a space between, to capture their full name in one field @|[email protected] @|[email protected]

If there’s other data you’d like to capture from Rocketseed, e.g. sender’s dept, job title, etc, then you’ll just need to identify the correct Rocketseed code for that information and enter it into one of the custom fields.

Then simply click ‘Generate Hyperlinks‘ and the unique tracking links for each feedback button will appear on the right hand side, as shown above.

Then simply send the links and your chosen icons to your onboarding team at Rocketseed, and they will ensure you have the perfect design and layout, and that all the data you need to track is being pulled into your Customer Thermometer reporting.

Final steps

Once you’ve set Rocketseed up with Customer Thermometer, you’ll need to finalize your landing pages. You can enable a comment field, add your logo, customize the wording, and lots more!

Simply go to ‘Manage Thermometers‘, and click to edit your Thermometer. Our guide to Creating landing pages will take you through the options…and if you’d like some inspiration, take a look at our top tips for beautiful landing pages.

Don’t forget you can also enable instant email alerts, and set a lockout to prevent the same person responding more than once within a chosen timeframe.
