Creating a Zoho Mail Signature Thermometer

Step 1 – create your Zoho Mail signature Thermometer

Create a new Embedded Thermometer.

Choose “Basic HTML” from the i) Embedded Thermometer type drop down box:

Ensure “Prompt for email address” is enabled.

When you’re happy with your setup – you can then add your Thermometer to your Zoho Mail signature(s).

Step 2 – generate your HTML snippet

Click the “Generate embed code” button:

Customize the elements shown below.

Amend the fields as shown (1,2,3). Including your name and email address in Custom fields 1 and 2, means that sender details will be recorded against the incoming ratings.

Click the “Generate HTML” button. (4)

You will see the HTML code appear (5). Copy to your clipboard and then switch to your Zoho Mail account

Step 3 – create a new Zoho Mail signature

It’s now time to create your new Zoho Mail signature.

Access your signature, by clicking on settings and then choosing the signature setup:

On the next screen, give your new signature a name (1).

Next, switch to HTML mode (2):

You will see a pop up. Paste in the code, copied from Step 2:

Click OK and you’ll see your signature appear:

Save your signature, and your signature is live.

Tracking multiple team member senders within the same Thermometer

You can aggregate a team’s scores using a single Thermometer within your account, whilst also tracking individuals’ scores within that team.

Once your first signature has been generated, you can create your next colleague’s tracking links by changing the two fields shown above (in custom 1 and 2). Click the “Generate HTML” button again, to generate a new set of unique code for team member #2.

We recommend copying each set of code into a word doc or email and sending them on, ready for each team member to add it into their signature.

Repeat as many times as you need to. Return to your Thermometer as often as you wish to regenerate additional team members.
